Looking for dash cams

Are they worth to give any money for them?

I haven't got one - but if an accident occurs then maybe they would capture something worthwhile, and maybe not.

I want a decent one,with enough space to fill in a few days recording without the need to delete daily.
I have my Navman GPS and an iPhone GPS app so I don't need it with it.

We just got one from Crazy Sales crazysales.com.au and I was really surprised at the picture quality.

It does 2 minute recordings, starts another without a gap and continues until the micro sd card is full and then starts over-writing the oldest. I'm using a 8GB card.

I would have thought the brakes, usually hydraulic these days. I honestly can't see how the cigarette lighter or battery can be involved here.

Mind you, these modern cars.....

I just bought one of these. I thing it'll be better resolution than the other one. One will be on the back window when I sort out 5v down the back.
