Free VPN in Opera

This Opera VPN doesn't work at all!

I tried http://whatismyipaddress.com and it shows my real IP address.

There is no place to enable VPN on the settings page - it just has private window there to click. WTF?

It's getting better then getting worse.

The webpage at http://www.littlegurus.net/guru/index.php?threads/free-vpn-in-opera.4926/might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

VPN hasn't worked for 2 days. Each attempt comes back as "This site can’t be reached" Which is a pity. Overload? Installed, uninstalled, clean install but no go. How sad. Nice try Opera but a waste of time.

I used to be able enable-disable it but according to them:

It found my ip address just fine when it shouldn't have!

Seems it started to work with an update: Version: 39.0.2245.0 - Opera is up to date

I believe that Opera's VPN will be useful.
Browsing Yahoo with IE I could not see again a video.
Saving the link and using it in Opera I could see it.

Just had to use a U.S. VPN to watch the season 2 previews of Dark Matter. Can't wait for it to start !
