We are on 3.8.6
and a day later on 3.8.6 Patch Level 1 because of a security risk programmed into 3.8.6.
Amazing amateurism from vB.

I did not upgrade our testforum to 4.0.5. There are more than 2000 bugs in it.

Our forum is running 3.8.7 now.
That was the last upgrade for the vB 3 series.

The vBulletin forum is running 4.1.3 Beta 1 with around 1000 bugs.
Still did not come the time for us to upgrade to it.

vBulletin 4.1.8 release focuses on bug fixes and contains updates to the core vBulletin software.

Seems vB4 is getting better.
I was hesitant to upgrade to vB4 because of the huge number of bugs in it.

As soon as 4.1.8 becomes stable we can try an upgrade to it.

Few days of trial and then going back to vB3 or keep vB4.

Going back would mean loosing posts made in the trial period.

Advantage: It saves your post while you are typing.
Possible to restore it in the same thread if you did not post it for any reason.

Our Thank You mod had to die.It does not work with 4.1.8
It was a disaster,had to delete the new install and upgrade again.

Possibly we can get used to much of the new format, rather than try and make it look like the old LG - and then again the next time an upgrade comes along.
