Okies. I give up.

I need point by point, maybe even pictorial, on editing my forum signature.

I have looked, prodded, searched under the mat, behind the desk, in my drawers and then the ones in the desk, I looked in my pockets, in the bin, under the mouse and even lifted every key on the keyboard, I grabbed the external hard drive on my desk and shook all of the bits out of it, grabbed the apple on my desk and threw it where it belongs, out the window, bloody iMac rubbish, I checked my bluetooth, blackberry, Tosca, EBCDIC, BFG, and now I'm checking with my Bolond, how the hell do I change the bloody signature?

You should start with the kitchen sink.

I enabled the sig in Chris' but I think it should be a global change and I'm not going to go there.

Not any more, I put my new gun in, now I have one, and it's not the one I put in. I didn't remove the one that's vanished either.

Not only does it ignore it, it deletes it from the sig. It's still there after a sig edit and save, even a refresh F5, but I leave the sig page, go back and it's goneski.
So I've uploaded it from my HDD to here (below) and will now try linking it from the online library. brb

In the sig edit window..... Save, it's there. F5 and it's still there. [CTRL] F5 and it's gone.

Chris, try it now. When I changed your custom permissions there is one SIG option I didn't enable called "Allow embedded media:" and which is now turned on.
Maybe that caused the issue - see if it works now.

FWIW In Firefox and MSIE the Control R refreshes the page too.

Yes, that's what I thought misi and is why I left it off. But there is no other reason for it to fail, if the account is working correctly.
After all it already had "Allow Images:" turned on so images shouldn't fail either.

There is a possibility that 'media' in SIGs to XenForo is something from an external site so it's worth a test.

I enabled the same options that Chris has on my own SIG settings with the exception of "Allow embedded media:" and the three items in my SIG work, with the top one being a plain link to the image.

When you save your sig there is the option again to save it.
Do not save it, get out from there!!!
