How are your peepers going Chris? I certainly hope nothing has gone amiss, and stuff does, but let us know how you're traveling and if there's improvement or irritation to go along with it...

Yes... I owe you an email... it'll happen, but it won't happen overnight. :satisfied

The eye still has the annoying feel. The 'scar' is visible out to the side, like a string of hairs hanging down the edge of my eyebrow and cheek. The eye doc says "you'll get used to that". He didn't say anything about that beforehand, nor did he mention the need to wear glasses.

I didn't *really* need glasses before but I do now. I'm gunna see him again and ask about this focus issue. Last time he said it will settle, this time "you'll need glasses. It's normal for your age."

What a bugger. It didn't go as smoothly as he or you had hoped.

What little I know is that the lens they slide in is supposed to match your vision, as they vary in magnification and stuff. The calculation can be off I guess, maybe due to varying eye muscle rigidity and stuff only ophthalmologists know.

The sooner they build people out of metal parts that don't break, wear, rust, the better!

I know a couple of people who had laser surgery done to their eyes and did not fare well. One of them was on A Current Affair . His eye was a complete botch job.

It's coming up to another 2 weeks of healing time Chris - has it settled in any way or do you have any info from your eye doc to share?

Things go very badly wrong for some people, when most have such good outcomes.
There's such a large component of luck in medical health.
