Addon domain - Can't install vbulletin ...

Hi, as I'm very happy with my vbulletin forum I purchased a second license for a small proyect. Unfortunallly I'm having problems trying to install this new forum.

I have a hosting plan at hostgator that allows me to have as many addon domains as I wish. So now my main domain fororeptiles.org have bajapesca.org as an addon domain.

My intention is to have the new forum runing at bajapesca.org, the addon domain. This addon domian is fully configured and even running a half constructed site there.

In order to install this new forum I created a special dedicated database at cpanel of my hostgator account, setup an user and give it all permissions to database.

Then moded my config.php file with the new database and user info and uploaded the ''upload'' folder to the root folder of the addon domain. I did check permission: folders at 755, files 644. Finally renamed the ''upload'' folder to ''foros'' and tried to run install.php at http://www.bajapesca.org/foros/install/install.php

This is the result every single time...

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@bajapescaorg.fororeptiles.org and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.10 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.10 OpenSSL/0.9.8i DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.bajapesca.org Port 80

As some of you may already know, addon domains at hostgator are parked on the root directory of a main domain.
So while the root folder of the main domain is at
/home/myusername/public_html

The server path to root of the addon domain (problem one) is:
/home/myusername/public_html/bajapescaorg

Am sure this is the root folder of bajapesca.org??
Yes! I already asked hosgator and I'm runing a site there whit an index.html file at:
/home/myusername/public_html/bajapescaorg/index.html

Any help would be much aprechiated!!!
Sorry for my bad english.

mm kind of not getting it. If I understand well that's what I'm doing:
There is alrealready a dir called ''foros'' after the path: http://www.bajapesca.org/

All vb files are after http://www.bajapesca.org/foros/

...

Working well:
http://www.fororeptiles.org/foros/index.php
Working well:
http://www.fororeptiles.org/bajapescaorg

How happy would you be to put vb2 to bajapescaorg and run it as:
http://www.bajapesca.org/bajapescaorg
or
http://www.bajapesca.org/anything
http://www.bajapesca.org/forum

OK, that would not be a problem at all, in fact I already try with ''forums'' and ''foro'' ...

Melbourne! I traveled to Australia some 10 years ago, unfortunally did not visit your paradise!! Have you ever been in México??

OK.
Make a directory foro:
http://www.fororeptiles.org/foro

Get Windows' notepad or any other program ,type "Hello Foros" and save it as index.htm

Upload it to http://www.fororeptiles.org/foro/index.htm
and let me know when it's ready.

And now to your question about Mexico: No,I have not been there but one day I'll visit. Brazilia as well.

Now step by step:

Look at our forum.

terefere.net/guru
or
littlegurus.net/guru

What you think, are they two different forums?

Re: Addon domian - Can't install vbulletin ...

No,they are not.

Changing the name "guru" would let us install another forum, let's say "foro"

Both of the would be in one domain : littlegurus.net

Typing littlegurus.net/guru would bring up LGs
typing terefere.net/foro would bring up the Foros.

What you think is it possible to do with your forum?

We can do that with your two sites.
They will be absolutely different sites, with different names but on the same website.

Try it here on this forum.
Login at http://littlegurus.net/guru

Browse the forum and look at the address bar.
What do you see?
http://littlegurus.net/guru/something

Logout.

Login at http://terefere.net/guru

Browse the forum and look at the address bar.
What do you see?
http://terefere.net/guru/something

In your case it would be:
http://bajapesca.org/foro/something
or
http://fororeptiles.org/foro/something

Your #1 forum at fororeptiles.org would be untouched, would show :
http://fororeptiles.org/something
