Happy Non-DLS day.

I was wondering - has anyone else had problems loading pages on LG? I've had heaps of times when I wait for 1-2 minutes for a page to load.

It doesn't seem to happen at the few other places I visit...

Re: Morning,Day and Night Watch

Just loading this page to read took 70 seconds, and I refreshed it again coz I got sick of waiting.

Then when I went to this reply it loaded fairly rapidly, but twice I posted last night and the page didn't update to take me to the new post (but they did post ok).

EDIT: ok, this post took 3 minutes "waiting for littlegurus.net" before I stopped it and refreshed the thread.
I'm doing this in MSIE now to see if it is a firefox issue.
Edit: it posted instantly.
Edit: so did that.
Edit: that did to. Back to Firefox V4.
Edit: that posted quickly.
Edit: that did to. I dunno.

Mystery. It happens to me too.
Seems it is a vB bug because on their official forum which is run vB 4.x it happens to me too.(IE9)

Just in case I disabled 2 hacks, there is left only one enabled.
Please let me know if there is any improvement.

No problems loading LG's for me.

I am using the 203.24.100.125 proxy in FF because of the ups and downs of aaNet over the last few days. :wink2:

It was very slow for me to log out last night, but at the time, I put that down to my wireless network which I'm still getting used to. :?

I read another forum using vB and it's swift... http://www.loungeoflegends.com/
As I see they are using phpBB:
Powered by phpBB © 2000, 2002, 2005, 2007 phpBB Group

But reloading a lg page is pretty quick. I'm not sure what's causing it.

Please listen to the loading times now. To me it is loading faster.
ATM The hacks are only disabled, their code is still on the site,I'might remove them.

There are some unsupported skins, they might cause the trouble.(Remove them?)

Yes, it does seem to be responding faster. I tried visiting several pages, replying, editing, quoting, and it only delayed once.

:hope Thanks misi.

Terribly sorry but all the styles(skins) except the Default Style have to go because there is no support for them.

Please change your style to the Default Style.

misi, I had a few stalls last night while reading and testing but tonight it's perfect (so far). Maybe the styles contributed ... ??

It's all back to normal. I dunno what caused it.

But.... I found that google was misbehaving over the last few days too, in google maps it wouldn't load maps. I tracked it down to google requiring a cookie now whereas before they didn't. And there are google links on LG pages. Maybe that was the reason.

Perhaps this?
