* Removal of $29.95/month Starter broadband service end-of-sale

Effective immediately, Internode is no longer offering its HOME-256-
Starter ADSL service ($29.95/month) for new customers.

All existing customers on this plan are welcome to remain on the plan
in their current location.

New customers (or customers relocating and/or changing plans) may
select from any of our other plans, starting at $39.95 per month.

* Reminder: New HIGH speed plans and new improved cost 1500/256 ADSL
plans

As a reminder to all ADSL broadband customers:

Internode introduced new "HIGH" speed (Up to 8Mb/s) plans, and new
pricing options for 1500/256 plans, on January 10th, 2007.

We cordially invite customers to review our new plan table at http://
www.internode.on.net/adsl and select a new plan if they wish to do
so, via our online plan changer.

Customers that do not change to a new plan will remain on their
existing plan at their existing price point.

* Regional Wireless DSL new service delivery suspended

Internode has been developing, deploying, and delivering regional
broadband services in various regions of South Australia since the
year 2000.

These are made possible in significant part by a Federal Government
(DCITA) scheme called Broadband Connect, a derivation of a previous
scheme called HiBIS.

This week, we have been informed by DCITA (without significant
warning), that all funds available under that scheme have run out
prematurely.

A new scheme called the Australian Broadband Guarantee has been
announced but is not yet available, and initial information about the
new scheme suggests that it contains multiple critical flaws which
would make it impossible to use for its intended purpose unless those
flaws are corrected by DCITA prior to release.

Accordingly, Internode has no option but to suspend all new
connection work in its regional 'Wireless DSL' network, and to
suspend further construction work to physically expand coverage
available through these networks, until further notice.

All existing customers will be fully supported.

We hope that DCITA will decide to amend the new scheme sufficiently
to make it possible to resume both new connections on existing
networks, and to continue with our intended expansions to new regions
in the future.
