Eftel Ltd (ASX:EFT) today announced the acquisition of Melbourne-based retail ISP Rabbit Internet.
Rabbit adds over 1500 active Internet and telephony accounts. CEO John Lane commented, "Eftel has traditionally grown strongly by acquiring ISPs, and is now seeking renewed inorganic growth. These smaller customer bases can be added with very little incremental cost, making them very beneficial to the company.
"The network team has recently completed a major renewal and virtualisation programme of the core server infrastructure, giving us the necessary resources to grow more efficiently."
