Mr replacement arrived yesterday (Thursday). I am really pleased because if it didn't and was ready to deliver today (Friday), I wouldn't have got it 'till Monday.

So today I was told " We can't deliver to PO boxes. "
So you would think the incompetent girl with a "Allah" type accent would have told me last Friday when I called to specifically check my delivery address.

New order for modem created and no one knows where the original order ended up.
Today I also got told I have to cancel all associated services with my landline number before it can be ported to VoIP.
If only I was told this last Friday, I'd be set now.

Guess, you got the incompetents from exithell. :upyours:

There can't be less attention to details if you paid them! Oh, wait... :holdit:

Do you have to pay for it again?
Are you sure that you can have your cancelled number ported to VOIP?
No, not paying again.
Landline has to remain active to be ported. All associated products with my landline have to be deactivated , eg duo fax etc, to enable porting. Had a nice chat with a Telstra guy to go through the process.

The nice Anglo saxon girl (Caroline) I talked to at Exetel yesterday sounded quite knowledgeable about what had to be done, unlike 'Allah' girl last Friday who was no help at all.
I'm positive things will happen during the next 3-4 days. That's better than aasoon !

PS... Did suggest I would go and buy a modem locally, but no one had a VDSL2 FTTN modem to sell. Just can't get one within a 20k radius from home.

Dunno...
Not to warn the customer on the form that they cannot deliver it to a PO box...
Okay , it's happened so quickly warn him that they need a firm address...
Telling the customer to cancel the phone line...
Too many faults.
I hope that your NBN is really ready for that modem.
