Cleanse with a soap alternative such as Pinetarsol as soap may irritate the skin.

One step closer to the solution.
From a friend of mine I borrowed a little grinder for my Dremel tool, it cuts the foam perfectly.
The only problem is that I cannot hold it firmly in my hands and it doesn't cut the foam evenly.
That is only a little beauty spot, important is that it cuts the foam exactly the angle I want it.

It occurs to me that an electric jaffle iron
or some other kind of press could hold it all clamped, except it can leave the edge of the foam showing.
An update on my tummy problems - it's so much better than it was and I don't use any medicine for it now - just mylanta occasionally. I'm also sleeping normally again - Woot!

It could be a neat tool - my thought is that the pic makes it look quite a bit larger than it is in real life, if you note the size of the dc plug in the socket and then at the handle size along from it.
