What a spring day it was...
It was 35 degrees in the shadow.
It's 19 degrees in the backyard and still 26 inside...

The solar recharge for the batteries don't function too well either. :tearful

This is my "outdoor" unit:

The indoor 'control' panel:
IC0348-2.jpg

The software: http://proweatherstation.com/easyweather/easyweather.htm

The specs:
This easy to install touch screen weather station provides users with instant access to the current temperature, both inside their home and outside, along with the wind speed, wind direction, wind chill, dew point and a rain fall. The unit also measures barometric pressure in order to provide an accurate weather forecast.

Users can program weather alarms to alert them of specific upcoming conditions. The unit also stores data about the highest and lowest readings for each weather variable that it tracks. The base station can transfer all of this collected data to a PC via a USB port and the included software package.

The outside sensors has an included solar panel so you don't need to change batteries and you are always receiving data.

Comes with the updated manual written in house at Instrument Choice.

OK, I tell a fib. Mine isn't the solar-recharge version, I change the 2 AA batteries ~yearly in my older version of that unit. The panel comes with a USB-A to USB-A cable, which is scarily kept separate from all other USB cables here.

The 'shaded' temp unit is an ALDI product, very good for what it does. I have 3 of them, 2 of 1 model and 1 of another. I also have a Clayton's (location) unit which, as described o me, I have never got to function correctly either, but it's a good testing unit. :satisfied
