Google is slow...

It's very slow with my connection.
Takes about 15 secs to appear on the screen.
ATM I'm rather using Bing for quick searches.

That's interesting. It's swift here atm.

Check the statistics at the end of this when you run it in the cmd prompt.

[after testing] I banned google cookies and deleted the google cookies - it was quick still.

No, so it's not my ISP's fault.

Seems the answer is: Browsers

Opera and Chrome: Instant
FF and IE: 7-15 secs

Hmmm. Maybe there is an addon/extension like an adobe driver or some toolbar causing it.

In Firefox at least you can restart it with extensions disabled for one session from the Help menu, to test it, or create a second blank Firefox profile which has zero baggage, to test it.
