Does your smart TV or gadget let you watch Youtube?

Funny you should say an apology misi - I asked about the skype camera Kogan sell.
Yes, it's wonderful, only needs a usb cable!
I loaded skyke, upgraded it like your web page says to, and when I turn the TV off and back on it says "Android is upgrading" and it erases the updated version of skype and puts back the non-working version that comes with the TV. Do your TV models do that?
NO! Our models don't do that! Please reset your TV
I did and it does the same thing on two TVs.
Tough!

The good news for me with my TV is that YouTube works on it!
Yes, it still works on mine too.

It's not going to work for much longer on various devices is how I interpreted the news.

My skype thing - Kogan told me it was 'third party developers' changing things and so wasn't covered under the warranty. I fail to see how the TV erasing updates is due to third party developers.

Kogan is still advertising that the feature works.

I'm buying cheap things from various places but somehow I'm staying away from Kogan.

That's BS from him.

Yes. I'm waiting to see what he says when business hours resumes on Monday.

The TV is a really sheetty but cheap smart TV - the cpu is underpowered, the android OS is locked down and you can't do a lot with it, it has authentication problems with paid apps, but it does play the stuff across the home network in the way I need to use it and so is easy for them here to use it.

The TV itself works ok, but I don't use any recording features.

I got LED globes, recently got a car bluetooth thing, the main purchases were the TVs.

Bluddy bluetooth car fangled noosance piece of shut* things.

I have 2 of them handsfree bluefangled thangs and proved to be a damn nuisance if left turned on. If you leave bluetooth 'On' in your phone and you are anywhere within cooee of the said bluefang thing you just might find your phone damn hard to use.

If the thang is in your car fer instance, and the doors are shut and the Windows© wound up while you are outside of the car, and your phone rings the bluebastad takes over.

Discuss.

Me discuss, knowing SFA about your gadgets.

Wouldn't a phone have an override to take the call by pressing say the answer button?

If not, then let's nuke the world from orbit - it's the only safe thing to do.

The only 4 ways I know, because my experience is that my phone rings, I answer it and silence.... all audio is via the bluebastad, you don't know if it's a call there, if you can be heard, what might be being said to you.... so

1) Turn bluetooth OFF on the phone handset, try doing that quickly to continue the call after you figure out what's going on.

2) Turn the bluetooth handsfree device OFF, which is in the car where you ain't, after you figure out what's going on.

3) When you figure out what's going on, run away from the car as fast as you can until you are out of range of the device in the car.

4) Once you understand what is going on, never use the bluetooth handsfree bluddy thang again.

Sammy Sung S4 with a BlueAnt and/or an ALDI BT Handsfree

That link only applies to BT Headsets/Earpieces. Mine are thingos that have microphone/speaker things powered by rechargeable battery.
