Queensland Premier Anna Bligh's handling of the state's disasters has brought her popularity back to near-record levels in a stunning turnaround.
The first major poll since the floods and cyclones shows Ms Bligh's leadership during the crises has won almost unanimous voter approval and lifted her popularity to the highest point since the honeymoon period after she became leader.
A Galaxy poll, conducted exclusively for The Sunday Mail, reveals the premier's satisfaction rating has soared from a perilous 25 per cent at the depths of the controversial asset sell-off before Christmas to 60 per cent now.
The turnaround means Ms Bligh has gone from being one of the least popular state leaders in polling history to one of the most popular in only three months.
