Queensland Premier Anna Bligh may talk up being the underdog at the March election yet she will not even consider a contingency plan if she fails to retain power and looses her generals.
The latest Galaxy Poll has the Liberal National Party heading for a huge victory and possibly reducing Labor to a baker's dozen seats in the next parliament.
The poll conducted on Tuesday and Wednesday night for the Courier-Mail shows the LNP leads Labor 59 to 41 per cent on a two-party preferred basis

Campbell Newman is a strong contender, but doesn’t yet hold a parliamentary seat.
He must win a seat in parliament in his own right to be the leader of the parliamentary party. If he didn’t win the seat then the party would have to find somebody else to be the leader.
