It's snowing at lots of places in Melbourne - frigid here past Oakleigh - and Aye Aye Chris will be in front of the log fire, if he's smart!

I had to run from the backyard because hail started to fall heavily.

It snowed for about an hour, dropped from 4C to 1C in about 5 minutes.

Not cold enough for the snow to settle though. The hail later this arvo however, is still in some areas of the lawn.

- and Aye Aye Chris will be in front of the log fire, if he's smart!

I guess I should not say that I was in Ipswich today watching the V8 Supercars. The temp exceeded the predicted high and reached 29c ....

Tomorrows prediction is a cool 21c
