iOS9 breaks your iPhone 4S

A $5 million lawsuit filed in New York federal court alleges that Apple's iOS 9 mobile operating software significantly slows down the iPhone 4S. According to the complaint: "The update significantly slowed down their iPhones and interfered with the normal usage of the device, leaving Plaintiff with a difficult choice: use a slow and buggy device that disrupts everyday life or spend hundreds of dollars to buy a new phone. Apple explicitly represented to the public that iOS 9 is compatible with and supports the iPhone 4S. And Apple failed to warn iPhone 4S owners that the update may or will interfere with the device's performance."

I'm glad that iOS7 is all that will load on my iFoney 4 then - it still works!

I wonder why Apple don't let people reload the earlier OS:?

They don't want to support them?
At first I agreed with you, and then I wondered - is iPhone 4s still under warranty?:?

On googling it seems that it has a one year warranty
(firefox won't let me keep typing on that line without the URL link growing)
and it was finito in Sept 2014. That means no support left.

If Apple have to pay people for slowing their phone then they may change their policy there... :happy
