Free churn to Internode

Growing Little Guru
Internode is pleased to announce that we're offering free fast transfer/churn for signups to an Internode service (normally $39).

This is effective immediately, and available until 30th June 2008.

This applies to "Fast Transfer/Churn", where available, only - it does not apply to SST (unchanged at $99) or new signups (unchanged at $129).

"Fast Transfer/Churn" allows customers to transfer to Internode from any Big Pond service, or from a service with any other ISP where that service is delivered now using a Telstra ADSL port.

In practice, this means most ISP plans at speeds of 256k, 512k, 1500k or 'up to 8000/384' can be moved to Internode using this (currently free!) transfer process.

And as its a 'no success, no fee' process - there is no harm in trying, and you can then reconsider your other transfer options (and/or disconnect/reconnect) if it doesn't work out this way.

Customers can select any Internode "ADSL Standard" or "ADSL Plus" plan as the destination of a signup using Fast Transfer/Churn (offering plans with speeds of 512k, 1500k, or 'Up to 8000/384').

The signup process is easy, and the transition is as easy as entering your Internode details into your router once the churn goes through - i.e. there is no significant downtime.

There are no other strings attached - no other change to your contract conditions. Its just... free!

Note that a churn of this sort counts as a cancellation of your existing plan with your existing provider - so please be aware that any contract exit/cancellation fees from your current provider are your responsibility if you decide to change.

For other important information about this process, please see the transfer FAQ here:

www.internode.on.net/sup...nd_adsl/transfer

Please note that at the time I'm posting this, the FAQ still says that the process costs $39. That will be amended in the next few days to reflect this offer, but its very clear when you sign up that the charge is being waived right now.
