I just scrubbed my Win8-64 system with Nightly and up and running within the hour (quite a quick rebuild from scratch) and threw FF21.0 on it. So far all good.

Now to get used to Win8 without cheating using Classic Windows interface. :happy

Just wait a couple of months and the 8.1 update may help. :cool

But wouldn't it better to wait for the 8.4 update which fixes the bugs in 8.3 which was released to fix the .dll hack in 8.2 which was released to repair the blue-screen problem introduced with 8.1?

Apparently the Start (Stop?) Button will be part of 8's Service Pack 1 which will also include the bug fixes in all of the 8.x releases and will convert the whole system into a 8XP hybrid system which is what everyone wanted in the first place.

I wish. :rolleyes

Had a peek at 8.1 preview 9385 on VM, no startling changes so far. R/click on taskbar Show All Apps seems to have been replaced with up/down arrows. :eek2

Some Apps have changed, too many of the bloody things to check em out. :eek

Interesting. But when I right click on taskbar (Win 8 32 bit) and there is no show all apps option. For a moment I thought we were discussing Firefox 21. :happy

That is the taskbar on the Metro screen not the desktop.

Oh No ! The non sequitur Nazis are on the prowl. :lmao:

You've been sampling the schnapps again

Nope, if you right click the Metro screen a wide blue task bar appears at the bottom with an All Apps icon on it.

Sorry, probably wasn't more explicit with my original explanation. :wink2:
