Check your plan for the New year

Alister Robbie had been regularly going over his 60GB data allowance, often paying Internode $30 extra on top of his monthly $69.95 broadband plan to buy additional data blocks.

Last year the Melbourne film editor checked Internode's website and found he could for some time have been getting 150GB for the same price. He says he's "pretty annoyed" the telco never told him about the new deal.

The robbers. I think we are all pretty savvy here but it could pay to check the new plans.

I supposed to pay $49.95 for 30GB and paying only $39.95...
Old plan,they did not force me to change plan.

There is a lot of difference between node and tpg.
With a bundled phone: node costs ~$60 for 30 GB
With a bundled phone: TPG costs ~$60 for unlimited

I'm happy with my $60 TPG bundle even though I don't get misi superspeed.

I bundled my home fone with node net a couple of weeks back . Now approx $85 p/m for home fone with caller ID and net (which was reduced by $20 with the bundling) . Im happy , so far this months I have used 84c in calls. No way would I bundle with telstra! I would like to go to naked DSL in the future.. but will wait and see.

With node you would not get any higher speed than what you have now...

I'm lucky to live near the exchange.

It's not an issue though misi - I get quite fast internet pages and that's what I do most of now. It's not often that I download anything sizable.
I even switched my Modem to ADSL 1 mode because the downstream SNR is more stable!

Yes Deb, Telstra can go and get knotted! I turfed them too.
